I agree with you on this matter.
I may sound like a broken record, but it seems that kind of movies are equated to entertainment. Anything that requires to use your brain or is not funny normally gets classified in "artsy" stuff and gets piled in "do not watch" category. All this started with the David Dhawan - Govinda - Karishma Kapoor era.
The general criterion is "good Bollywood movie = something that requires you to park your brain outside the theatre". Plus it has to cater to the entire family from your grand parents to your 1 day old infant. Vulgar jokes are not offensive any more. And the height of hypocrisy might be that the same people who oppose sex education might the same one who might have no qualms watching heroines in bikinis.

They change boy friend/husband almost daily
They only want MONEY at any COST
What's the use of education/knowledge if you can't use for betterment
I really doubt if those above mention colleges/universities really TEACHES what those ACTRESS are really doing in life

Movies reflect the culture of the country. In old Hindi movies, it was a taboo for a heroine to shed the clothes and that is why we had Helen. Now with liberal cultural atmosphere due to influence of western culture, heroine is expected to wear Bikini! If she does not, probably the movie would be a flop. No director / producer would produce a movie which is not expected to make money. Please do not blame the heroines. They work as directed and as per demands of the script though I do agree with you that they are not necessarily intelligent persons.
You complain that they want MONEY at any COST. Why would you single them out? Do you think they are worse than Mukesh Ambani who has no qualms in cheating his younger brother out of the fortune left by his father or MMS who has no qualms in selling the country to Chinese and acting as dummy bartering his “reputation” as a clean person.
This movie has been taken to court by a Tamil movie producer.
It is claimed that this movie is a remake of a superhit tamil movie called Kadhala ! Kadhala! which starred Kamalahasan, Prabhudeva, Late Soundarya and Rambha.
This movie producers had approached the tamil producers for the rights and when they were refused they still went ahead and made the movie.
Sajid Khan the director and the younger brother of Farah Khan is such a copy cat.
His first movie Hey Baby was a remake the hollywood movie 3 men and a baby.
Hope the concept of IPR - Intellectual Property Rights is applied here if not we will find a desi version of Avatar very shortly.
