Recently some of our Bollywood Movies are technically excellent
So thought of taking opinion about some Good Young Director (Technically + Mass appeal)in Modern Bollywood Days
My picks are (In random sequence)

Priyadarshan(This guy is too good!)
Karan Johar
Sanjay Leela Bansali
Bidhu Vinod Chopra
Ram Gopal Verma( This guy can make a movie on any subject!)
Rituparno Ghosh(He already showed his class in 'Choker Bali' and now entered in Bollywood world)

Farhan Akhtar's Dil Chahta hai' was technically very good and I heard that Farhat Khan's forthcoming 'Main Hoon Naa' also will be an interesting movie

Will appreciate other guys choice

I am not following all films and not have any choice, but ocasionally seeing films with family.

What I noticed since last five years is a good trend of new generation film directors having educated in America. With their wider perspective they are making films of various subjects, the trend which was were rare at the time of "lost and find" period or Jitubhai and Shre Devi's period. There were few directors doing experiements, but they were not able to attract the crowd.

These new guys are dammed good at that. Just think about "Bhoot" - Ramu can only make such film. Karan is ofcourse very talentive director.

Yes he is none other than Nagesh Kukunur.His 'Hydrabad Blues' and recently '3 Deewareen' are excellent
