'teh' in your post MR.

Typos we all do...let us not stretch that to being detail oriented or not....that may or may not be the case!

In addition to informationn (typo! ), Sandeep is also looking for some motivation, I think.

Sandeep, while contacting agencies may be fine, MR's suggestion of networking in your professional field is very good. Do this, not with the view of asking for a job, but seeking to get into your profession here, and you will find positive response.

When you do talk to someone, try to stay positive despite your frustration....they may be equally troubled in these tough economic times....

One thing that works well here(and I know it may sound hard right now) is volunteering. There are several non profit agencies that may welcome additional support from you in terms of the skills you bring. They do not always have money to pay you, but that does help you gain some 'Canadian experience', gets you in touch with people who may help, and also keeps you mentally and physically active, reducing your frustration.

It does mean no money in the short term, but I have seen a few people translate this into good jobs.....it is all a matter of your personal situation and support, and ability to manage things ...

Know one thing, if you have a will, with your skills, you will find a way.

Good luck.

Thats what I said - there is a difference between typing in a hurry (typo) and then putting spelling mistakes into a resume - where being detail oriented shows (or not).

Accountants need to be very detail oriented. that is why I mentioned this.

I am a civil engineer from AP, immigrated to Canada 12 years ago with two children and wife. I was 48 that time. I was one among two who worked for a 100 Bed hospital worth Rs.4 crore on southern AP town near Madras. I was in that from concept to commissioning and there is my sweat on each brick. That means I was there before the idea came in and part of A to Z. That was the first Apollo hospital franchisee. i was there as Executive director for 7 years before entering in to the shrimp farming. I burnt myself in that due to deadly virus from imported seed that devastated whole of Indian coastal shrimp farmers. I was strong to take failure and then moved to Canada on immigration with my 2 teen kids and wife. I was in management of the hospital with 212 people. There were 14 specialist doctors and 2 super specialist working with us and lot other paramedical staff. I was know in the District in official level and also political level including ministers by my name.
When i moved here i found $8/hour lowest paid job in civil engineering testing lab. When my kids came they wept for 3 days looking at me and my job/work/ dress. I did not loose myself. I do not know any one here too. But I was always burning with lot ideas and may 1000s... always lingering.. My family and kids did not allow me to go ahead with any plans on business till they finish studies. Now I started business 4 years ago ad successfully developing well.
I always believe in this.

Winners will never quit... quitters never win...

success in life comes with persistence, consistence and continuance...
We are happy and at ease and please do not ask what i am doing.
Find your way out... never loose confidence...

My daughter is married to a dentist in same community and my son was gifted student from start, finished from Waterloo Uni. with distinction and working in Manhattan as software engineer. I don't need to mention how many hurdles on my way...never loose in yourself. i am very sure. when you brought your kids here it is gift for your kids and their generation... no matter what is here.. but always grow and instill hope and willingness to work hard for your kids...
