Dear CD's,
I came to this site while surfing the web, I had applied for PR in the year 2006 and got my File no.
I want to know something about the job market for Mechanical Engineer having experience in Steel Industry as Maintenance Personnel.
What is the prospects in the same type of Industry.If somebody can help me out so that I can plan wether or not to move ,Please mail me, my mail ID

P.S: Why would you apply for PR if you have still not made your decision ? From all earlier post and from my own experience people who just wanted to stick to one particular field / profession or position had to deal with more difficulties than others did ..

You may get your PR during 2010-2011 and it would be useful if you start collecting details of job oppurtunities after 3 years.

Thanks for all the replies, Ashwin I am no problem changing my field i was just gathering information about the type of job market, I can work in Petroleum/ Steel / Power/ Engineering Field.
Can anybody give in brief about the job market.
