On 2 occasions I have deposited checks that should have been rejected and it went thru.
1. I deposited a post-dated check and it went thru.
2. I deposited a check drawn on my daughters name into my checking a/c, which did not have her name and it cleared. I realized the mistake and called the bank the same day, and they said chances are it will go thru, and it did.
