I recently completed 10 yrs outside of India......
No regrets, I was happy back home I am enjoying here finally happiness is the journey itself not a destination....its in your mind count your blessings and dont focus on what you lack.
I have seen people in peak of their youth cribbing and also people with handicaps leading a life full of inspiration....
Lets thank god for his mercies and blessings...Khush raho abad raho yehan raho (Canada mein) or Ghaziabad raho.

Honestly if you anyone is not happy here they should go back, there are plenty of oppurtuinities in India. Jult like you took the risk of coming here, take one more and go back, you will be fine.
Fun and Games once more. A Canada V/S India bashing session has started. Please continue and let us have some fun reading the opinions and views.

You know you are a desi when ........ You spew forth the virtues of India, but don't want to live there...............You've never had a tanning salon membership
I didnt mean this to be a Canada-India bashing. Personally, I cannt complain about anything..job..money..home ..I am doing really well over here.
May be I am going through a midlife crisis.

"The grass is not, in fact, always greener on the other side of the fence. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be"
Little philosophy:
You will never be happy if you are not satisfied. Seek satisfaction happiness will automatically follow but otherway round is not always true. Feel satisifed.
Happiness is more of relative term.
Grass always seems green on other side.
You cannot have the cake and eat it too..

Absolutely..what is apparent in all the posts on here is "It is solely upto you, what you believe is YOUR happiness"
I was always in the "West is what will make me happy" syndrome...came to the west lived here for 10 years...worked on the career of my choice, integrated with the mainstream..earned well..bought a house and wheels...but never stopped introspection and learnt along the way what really mattered to me and my family...."INDIA - in all the visions that it conjures" came the reply
So last year just like chittesh mentioned, converted the built up feeling into a lock stock and barrel move back to India..and the journey continues..working on the career of my choice, integrating with the mainstream with renewed vigour..applying the good learnings from my stay abroad..earning well..bought a house and wheels. In all this the learning of what happiness is to ME will never stop...
So all in all 1 Life, many options, do what feels right no matter where and we should all be happy souls
