Hi

I will be doing my G test at the Brampton center. Can anyone who has done the G test there, throw some light as to what route they take, what all things they ask you to do, etc. etc

Thanks for the info. What all things were you asked to do, is it the same drill that they take you through as the G2 test, or is it someting different?

Dear Sumjo,
I did that in Aug 06. The route was as below
Park the car behind the transport office in that ground they take parallel parking between two pillars.
Come out of the office take right on 1st Gulf Blvd
Change the lane come back to original lane
Take right on Kennedy (towards north/school zone)
Cross steeles and go north on Kennedy
Somewhere at 3rd traffic light after steeles take left
Again take left in residential area( Be prepared for emmergency stop)
That road come back on steeles.
Take left on steeles keep goint until Hwy 410
Take north on Hwy 410. Change the lane(left) again change lane(left).Come back to right
Take exit on Queen Street.
Turn left and again merge on 410 from Queen(immediately)
Take 410 South. Change lane come back on original lane
Take exit of steeles. Take left on Rutherford /1st gulf blvd
Prepare to take right back in the driving office parking zone where you may be asked to do a reverse parking.

Take care of the posted speed and observation (mirrors). All the stop signs in resi. area. Also merge with the speed of about 100 neither less nor more.
Do practise on above route 3-4 times

I didn't do my G2 at this location but during G test I have been asked to perform all the tests (including reverse parking, parallel parking) which was performed at the time of G2 and two tests more (1) highway test and (2) emmergency stop on streetside. Just read book throughly for the proper technique. Everybody has different experiences I found that some of my friends were not asked to perform all the tests i.e. a couple of tests may be omitted from the tests of G2.

Pull the car on the shoulder and switch on your emergency lights. Put the car in Parking and pull the parking brakes.
