If my country is in trouble and i go to church / mosque / temple ..... my pastor / mullah / pujari says live you life on word of god, sounds ok he is preaching what he belives in and you expect him to say that ..... .......... but if a leader of a nation says this .....

Do you agree with him that Imam Mahdi will lead a global government ?

as much as you would agree with this

\"...On Sunday, Bush warned Americans that \"this crusade, this war on terrorism, is going to take awhile....\"

\".... 'I'm driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, \"George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan.\" And I did, and then God would tell me, \"George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq …\" And I did. And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, \"Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East.\" And by God I'm gonna do it.'....\"

So you are ok with George Bush's language !!!!!!!!!

Still haven't answered about his view on Imam Mahdi ....... are you also expecting him to come & save the world.

Yes of course... I am ..........as much as I would also like to have wings......so I can fly home over traffic instead of driving through it.

If you see a flashing light tonight, headed skywards. ... just wave...thats me!

What is the point you are trying to make....? Friend, what do you think are the odds of Ahmadinejad's prophecies comming true vs Bush's?

The US economy is in grave peril and its big three automakers may soon face bankruptcy. In a crazy sidebar, as Wall Street and the Us banking system faced meltdown, the insouciant Pentagon just announced it would spend $300 million with American `contractors’ to spread pro-US propaganda in Iraq. This remarkable idiocy notwithstanding, Washington could soon run out of money necessary to keep paying for operations in Iraq, and bribing Pakistan with $250-300 million a month to wage war against its own rebellious Pashtun tribes people along the Afghanistan border.

Startlingly, Gen. McKiernan appeared to break with Bush administration policy by proposing political talks with Taliban and admitting the war had to be ended by diplomacy. The military men know this war cannot be won on the battlefield. McKiernan’s predecessor told Congress that 400,000 US troops would be needed to pacify Afghanistan. There are currently 80,000 western troops in Afghanistan, many of them unwilling to enter combat.

By sharp contrast, I recently asked Karl Rove, President Bush’s former senior advisor, how the US could ever hope to win the war in Afghanistan. His eyes dancing with imperial hubris, Rove brightly replied, `More Predators(missile armed drones) and helicopters! Then we’ll go into Pakistan.’

"....The marketing genius Karl Rove managed to fool all of the people some of the time, and turned war hero John Kerry into someone to be feared and doubted, while war avoider George Bush became GI Joe. That’s a hell of a lot of political detergent to move off of supermarket shelves, but – along with some old-fashioned electoral fraud in Ohio, of course – it worked one last time.

Bush bragged about winning political capital to spend in his second term, but you’d have to be as stupid and disingenuous as the little toad himself (the same guy who declared the Iraq war over before it actually began, and who said “You’re doing a heckuva job, Brownie”) to have believed that nonsense. The truth was that 2004 was the last gasp of the old black magic, and it just barely worked. Use lies, racism, homophobia, xenophobia and national security bogeymen to scare pathetically ill-informed Americans, and in non-recessionary times you could win another election. Back then, at least.

Indeed a great achievement, er, I mean a great con.
Actually, IMO, there was an even greater con in the 2004 elections.
It was how the GWB compaign managed to convince the voters that John Kerry was a flip flopper.
You dig into this long time senator's record, public statements and actions from the 1970s onwards, connect random dots and draw conclusions in such a way that people begin to think like this guy plays ping-pong with his mind all the time.
It was a truly masterful campaign strategy to come up with the idea that "hey, we can't find anything against this guy. Let's see if we can find conflicting statements and votes in his past and show that he's a flip flopper".
Worked like a charm.

I don't have the stats handy, but GWB in 2004 must be the only (or at least a very rare) case of an incumbent president with such low ratings and failures going into the election and ending up winning it.

Millionaire hedge fund boss thanks 'idiot' traders and retires at 37

"The low-hanging fruit, ie idiots whose parents paid for prep school, Yale and then the Harvard MBA, was there for the taking," he wrote. "These people who were (often) truly not worthy of the education they received (or supposedly received) rose to the top of companies such as AIG, Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers and all levels of our government," he said.

"All of this behaviour supporting the aristocracy only ended up making it easier for me to find people stupid enough to take the other side of my trades. God bless America."

Lahde became one of the biggest names in the investment industry when one of his funds produced a return of 866% last year, largely by forecasting the US home loans industry would collapse.

In his farewell letter, which concluded with an appeal for the legalisation of marijuana,
