Hi guys, recently I got a renewal increase in insurance(25%) from TD Meloche Monnex eventhough I got G license 6 months back/ My G2 licence is 3 years old and never have any tickets and clean record. I called them and csr told me that I have an old honda accord 94 model and according to statistics that car is more prone to bodily injury and that's why they increased the insurance but I didn't understand that I do not have comprehensive policy and what that bodily injury history of model has to do with my insurance rates.
Is there anybody who have the similar experience from an insurance company or any body can throw a light in the matter
thanks
check with other insurance companies if somebody gives a better rate and move with other company if the rate is better ...

TD's every year prmium is changing every year depend on their Balence sheet
no fix primum.
after one year my insuranc eis also increas with TD they said that primium is decided every year so it will increas or decrease.
i learn that if too many claim then we all have to suffer and ther reverse is also same.
i also take G then i get only 10% but this all discount are only for one year then they again rise to normal.
alternative is the you change your insurance the chepest you get after TD is http://www.johnson.ca/ Johnson it's 20- 50 $ less then TD depend on your histroy Just ask quote from then deside what to do.
----
if you get ticket first time then genraly insurance not increae.
but good idea is when you renew your Plate then your lic histry is send to insurance company so means when your insurance on renewal that time they get data from Transport ministry that time if you have minor ticket then don't worry
its good if you renew plate for two year
