Thats a very good deal!!! The rates for mobile are 0.59/min though...should be careful..still it is a steal. And you get sears club points for every $ you spend...

Thanks desi#1 for informing..

You will get the 6 cents rate ONLY if you are willing to pay/spend $23.99 per month otherwise the rates would be 21 cents per minute. Moreover, the rates for mobile phones are ridiculously high.

I would not receommed it to any one who is not willing to spend their monthly minimum to get these rates.

If it is used as a mix then it is worth trying. For cell, use Reliance and for land line use Sears.

My monthly long distance bill is over $25 anyway.

Also, which is cheapest way to call within Canada and US? I would like to use my land only.

Just for the record,
I spend over $200 a month on phone bill to India through Reliance India and hence would be benifitted by this. I can now save atleast $120 a month.
Having seen the weblink, I infer the following and have also some doubts:
1. First 800 minutes come at 3 cents a minute (800 mins for $24 + taxes). Additional min. 6 cents a minute. So for me, this is clearly an advantage.

2. Is there a contract? How are the cancel options. What happens if i want to stop for a month or two? Can anyone share more dangerous fine prints in this offer?

Hi,
Did anyone actually started using sears long distance 23.99 monthly plan yet?How is the connectivity and rounding(1 min or less??).
Is it a direct dialing from your landline (starting with country code) or there will be a 1-800 conncting number or starting with 011 and then country code?

thanks
