My friend has been travelling between US and Canada very frequently and uses Rogers North-american plan to make calls from States to Canada..
I am sure there would be some more cost effective ways to make phone calls to Canada... one option that comes to my mind is to use "calling card with unlocked cell phones".... Do you guys think that is possible.. if yes, can you suggest some good calling cards for making calls from States to Canada....
Thanks

You can use calling cards... but why do you need unlocked phone for that? you can do it from any phone... It will cost roaming charges too, if you are using Rogers SIM card...

I think Sears Connect charges 2c/m for NA ... Please check Searsconnect.ca . Another option is CallSelect.ca - bot of these are post paid and can attach the LD service to phone numbers ....
