My relatives are immigrating to Canada. I am looking for a list of good insurance companies where I can buy health/medical insurance for them to cover first 90 days in Canada, as OHIP does not cover for that period.

I request other people if they can provide more informatory links/addresses so that I can get good quote. I believe that every person who immigrated/visited to Canada might have got medical insurance for the first 90 days.

Does it mean nobody take medical insurance when coming as a new immigrant/visitor?

I thought most of the people on this forum knew about it.

Try kanetix.ca. Will provide you quotes from multiple companies.
My friend used it and was able to get good price. Just make sure you read the fine prints.
Also call Manulife, RBC or google TIC (travel insurance company).
Another company is travelgaurd.ca

I have used Sears in past. There are lots of companies which will give medical insurance but if there are any pre exisiting condition most of them will not cover. Another way is to get from india.
