Hi CD's,
Is their any other legal way to get into US using my PR status in Canada?
I have applied for US visa ,for which I have to wait more than 10 wks.
My employer enquired me about some other way in which I can get along with our customer in US immediately.I had no idea.But one of my colleague shared about his girlfriends (who is PR here) experience of getting her green papers in the border to enter US. Though he said this is only valid till dec'06.
I am not getting any site where this is mentioned officially.If any of the CD members have any knowledge about this procedure, please share your experience or information. It will be appreciated....

No other legal way other than to get the visa that you have applied for. Ten weeks for a visa ???????? That's too much, isn't it? Good luck.

Have you tried to get a business visa through your employer? That might expedite it.
You will perhaps also have to get a sponsorship/invitation letter from the person/company you are going to visit in the US.

I mean 10 wks to get an appointment for the Interview....I got the date on 28th Nov'06.
Anyway ,my employer is looking into some alternatives from head office.
