Hi All SCD's, CD's and etc
We did our landing in the year 2003 ans thereafter moved out of the country without availing to the OHIP .
We are now moving back to Edmonton and does anyone know how long does the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan take to become operational.
Is it from the first day of arrival or from the first day of the third month.
If I land on the 20th April would april be counted as the first month or not.

There is no waiting if you are moving from outside the country (ie a new immigrant), but in your case, that may not apply. May be you could contact the Alberta Govt. directly to get the details.
