There is only one online store to buy groceries here :

http://www.grocerygateway.com

I did not hear any free or paid home deliveries here :)

Thanks and regards.

Are you sure:eek: ??? This is very bad for us:cry: !!! Becoz here we are used to this. I thought there people are so busy, so at least they spend less time in shopping!! That’s not cool!! Especially for those who’s coming from UAE.

also an opportuinity for someone fo fill a need (economics :)
Actually in montreal(depending on the area) some stores do provide this service for about 5$. I have used it a cpl of times, unfortunately i learnt about the service only a cpl of week before I moved out of that area. Theres no harm in asking the cashier at your supermarket.

This is exactly what I have indicated in my previous posts regarding persons coming from ME - yes life here is NOT COOL! this is one of the smallest of dozens of changes you will have to make. Not to sound negative, as you will again call it I know for sure, but just telling you a fact of life in Canada!

And this is just for the adults - quite a few changes for children too - when they will have to trod along with other kids in the snow during utter cold to their schools!

Hi Chandreshji:) ,

Yeah I know you have more experience then us:y . We are juniors!!!!!!!!!! :D Do guide us. I know we have to face lots of small-2 things there, so better be ready from here. Maybe after 3-4 years we’ll also come in ur category;) . Anyway thanx:)

Regarding your 2nd part we have no kids!!!!! So at least no problem from their side:D

People in Canada also work only 8 hrs a day in office, but these are the things which makes them 'Busy' - groceries, washing, drying, dishwashing, vaccuming, dropping and picking up children to school and friends and extra curricular activities etc. etc. etc. - things which are done in ME by maid servants/drivers/office boys/grocery shop owner!!!

Thanx Chandreshji for your feedback:) . Yes life will be different over there though ME is not much different. Here also people do most of these chores themselves. But yes people do have option of maids. Which will be luxury over there.
