This is a new shop that opened a month before and which is very good to the community in Rexdale. The intersection is Islington and Rexdale (near Walmart).
The shop is a Chinese one and is very clean and Hygenic (for now). Prices of groceries and Non-veg. items are very cheap and is very fresh too. If you buy for min. $30 , then they will give you a box of cream cookies.
They also have an Indian sections where you can get Indian Spices, Indian flour etc..
Let me just illustrate as to how cheap this is :
Zuchinni - $0.30 / Lb.
Radish - 0.30
Turnip - 0.30
Live fish - Min. $2.29 / Lb (Clean)
Goat Head - 1.00 a small head
Goat meat- $1.59 a pound (frozen cubes)
Tomatoe's - 0.69 / Lb to 1.59 /lb

Desi's , please use this instead of going to Sri Lankan or Canadian Stores or even to Desi stores, where they can rip you off.
The prices are also 10% to 30% lower than what you get in Dundas-Hurontario Thai cheap grocery shop. The plus point is that the store and its goods are very clean (for now).
This grocery shop is also good news to Babuji ( and many gujju families in that area) who have been ripped off by a Sri Lanakan grocery store 9around Kipling-steels area) which is the only Desi shop for them

Hi TK,

Why would anyone buy a goat head when every human being who is alive has a perfectly good one? On second thoughts do people who buy this poor goats head use it for performing black magic? I remember watching it somewhere in Hindi movies.

Also in case if you need a live pet fish then Petsmart or Walmart also have them and most of the fishes there are colorful and so cute. My friend has a nice fish tank and its so relaxing to watch the fishes and appreciate nature and its creation. I wish that I one at home too.
