If the specialist or family doctor calls in for the results to the hospital where CT, biopsy and MRI were done, they can get it done faster. Also the specialist/family doctor can call in for a verbal report if written report is not available.
Otherwise they will have to wait for a week to couple of weeks before the report is typed and mailed/faxed.
The fact they ordered two examinations after CT means that they already have a verbal report at least on the examinations done.

So many Doctors migrate to canada and they have to drive a cab..
There is a big need of Doctors here but canada's system doesn't qualify there degrees...
Every time we have to wait for 3 hours after fixing an app.. 1 week in advance .

Once I went to ER and had to wait for few hrs. By the time docotr saw me I had almost recovered.
I was sent to ER by my dentist. She gave me some injection and I had reaction to it. After the reaction I went into what paramedics told me was a panic attack. My whole body was shaking constantly for over half hour. By the time paramedics took me to hospital and waited in line for few hours my shaking was slowly diminishing. By the time doctor saw me my shaking had stoped and he released me. Only good thing was paramedics were with me till docotr saw me. They were monitoring my blood pressure and heart.
After reading all this post.. i can say.. you all are lucky.. i was suffering abdomen pan over two years now.. still doctor has not detected any thing.. first year i went through numours appointment of kidney .intestine and other specialist.. but found nothing.. all appointment over period of two to three months wait time.. after one year i stopped visiting doctor.. now over a year i am slowly recovering month by month.. now i am 90% recovered.. but ""oh canada""'>>>>>>
Not just in the field of medicine, but other areas too, problems persist here because canada fails to accept most qualifications and experience from other countries. My aunt makes a trip to india for an operation she has to undergo every year, only coz she had the operation the first year she arrived here and apparently the surgeon realised minutes before the operation that the wrong surgical instruments were kept on the table. The surgeon was all upset coz his time was being wasted, and did the operation in a hurry.
My aunt makes the trip all the way to India for the 15 min surgery, coz she says that gives her peace of mind, and thats something you cannot put a price tag on.
