While glancing thru Ontario map, I was surprised to see a town by name of "Lucknow". So I googled it, and fair enough, the time is named after the 1857 revolt.

The historical facts may seem invalid or inaccurate, but still it is interesting to see some Indian connection to a Canadian town
There is also a town called Delhi in Ontario, but its website does not give any information about the origin of the name
Meghal
There are many Bombays in North America. Do they have any connection with our Bombay?

On a side note if anybody finds my comments or posts offensive or irritating please ignore it and if that still bothers you; please write to me and I will demonstrate.
Ahmedabad is not officially Karnavati yet but Vadodra is. Karnavati was the right name before Moghuls changed the name. India should be Bharat because India was trisected in three countries by the British. Therefore, now the real name should be Bharat. However, not official yet.
