Hello!

Being a first time home buyer in Ontario, I was wondering whether there are any tax breaks available for first time home buyers? Any advice and suggestion on this topic will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello,

It will be improper for me to refer to one of the brokers here on this website and not the others, hence please see all of the REAL ESTATE Brokers on this web site.

But here is the first one on the web site when we google:
http://www.realestate-ontario.com/firsttimebuyer.htm
Please make sure that they explain the benefit of paying extra and also not paying the Insurance premia for High Ratio Mortgage and any other features that a new comer should be told about. In short a full disclosure of the pros and cons. OR alternately point in the right direction and whistle. You be the one to decide.

One more to read: http://www.homefund.com/programs.htm

Here is another discussion thread : http://boardreader.com/t/General_Chat_9180/First_Home_Buyers_Tax_Break_9772.html

Take your time and collect all of the facts and then discuss the same and come to a conclusion.

Good Luck and great hunting/

Freddie.
