I am an international student studying in a canadian university currently at undergrad level....
I would like to do summer 2004 session at another university as a SPECIAL VISITING STUDENT wherein I will be be taking courses in another university and earn credits towards my degree in the home university through a special letter of permission issued by home university . I will return back to my university once I do the summer session .
Do the immigration laws allow me to do so considering I am a international student ?
There won't be any problem as long as you are doing it during the validity of your visa & with the permission of your university. It may be wise to write to immigration and let them them know about this. They'll know you have been upfront with them.
