Is there any portfolio management companies present in Canada?
The service required is to manage a portfolio of shares on behalf of the customers for a fee. By saying portfolio management, the buying/selling is at the discretion of the Company.
Such Companies are widely available in India with good Government control.

All brokerage houses, banks, and some insurance companies have portfolio management in place. You can take your pick and ask to meet a broker. Mutual funds are also a type of portfolio management and there are tons of financial planners available to help you pick the ones that meet your needs.
As for govt control, there are set laws that the broker has to follow, but no direct control.
