Sir I have read the reply but i think you have missed something.

I am not aware how much time will it take from england for the application to be processed???

The reason why I am asking is because in april 2006 i will be able to apply(because i will be completing my 1 year in this country then) and my visa will expire in feb 2007.

I am worried whether my application will be processed within those 10 months or no.

If no what happens to my application. Is it transferred to India or it is in england only but my interview is in India.

I would appreciate if somebody replies to it

1 I Hope This Will help you.

2 I am also sailing in the same boat, I mean right now I am in Canada And going to apply for PR within 2-3 months, but my question is if by any reason I move back to India (visa expires in 1 year and Buffelo CIC office takes around 2 years), What will happen to my file ?
Is it necessary to maintain my status in Canada any how untill I get my PR ??
If I can't maintain my status in Canada, Will my application be sent back to India??

I hope for the keen answer from Mr. Massood
Cheers....!!

Rahul:

You can apply now if you make the 67 points. London is taking approx 18 months [these days].

You can apply. There's no risk to your application. The only thing to consider is what if the embassy wants you for an interview? Can you travel to USA? I'm sure you qualify and are confident of no interview.

Even if you're in India, just inform the embassy of your change of residence and if applicable, mailig address.

You don't have to maintain status in Canada during the entire processing of your application.
