I m new here and want 2 know if u get English Priemer League here in canada. I m not interested in buying the games on PPV but instead want 2 know if u get them on some sports channel like in india(ESPN). Does Dish Network offers EPL? If yes wat r the cost etc. Right now I hav Rogers cable but i dont think they offer EPL but anyway if they do it would be on PPV and very costly. I am looking for a cheap one time investment.

It should be available on basic cable (channel 1 -28).
In my case (mississauga) it is channel 22, i.e. SPORTSNET.
2 or 3 regular season games on Saturday are shown starting at 7 am (early start) , 10 am (regular start) and one taped game is shown at around 1 pm.
The first two are delayed by 5 mintes or so.

For Games on Sunday, and other week days which are played in the evening in England, they are shown on Fox sports world. YOu would have to take these as extras. Its part of the extended digital lineup. So you need the box. Each individual channel is not that expensive.
This is 100% live, no delay. Starts at 3 pm EST.
Some international games are shown on TSN (channel 30 in Mississauga).
They also showed the FA cup final this season on TSN. Prev you had to watch on PPV.

If u have a high speed internet connection. then download a software called coolstreaming. it broadcasts ESPN the asian one and star spots as well and its been quite useful for me.

I noticed that the 2nd game on Sunday (Starts 11 am EST) is now being shown on regular extended cable. Channel 53 here in Mississauga. The channel is just called "S".

PPlive is another software which u can use if u have a broadband connection.
