Diwali in Kuwait would be like this....

1. Pooja at home
2. Post Pooja - Patakas on the sly.
3. Post Pataka Tash Party
4. Pack up at 4am

couple of families would get together. Kids have a lot of fun, women as usual get pissed with arranging and coordinating food and men as we are sit on our asses. We only look busy ? eh?

For me this Diwali was quite nice and i hope you guys had same

We also have one building called " Titanic " which houses 85% papajis ( I am half surdi) and the building is lit from top to bottom.

75% of indians prefer to stay in area called " Salmiya" and it houses almost all indian restaurants and everything from pani pudi ( golgappa) to rumali roti is available. I cannot promise butter chicken would be as good as we are use too, but it will do....

By the way, my Immigrant Visa came on 12th of this month i.e. on Diwali. For me it was as shubh it could get.....
