Hi
I am a software/ERP consultant and coming to Canada shortly. I am a bit hesitant as I have a cushy job here in India with salary in excess of INR 550000 per year.
I am not too sure if I could get a similar kind of job profile in Canada.
I would request people who are already settled in Canada to throw some light on this.
How are the job opportunities in Software sector?
Also what are the possibilities of working in the US after coming to Canada?

Now that your coming anyways find out for yourself the diff. Canada it all depends on a individual. IT is slow anyway but u never know

Is it required to furnish the proof of funds at the Delhi airport???
How much cash they allow

you will not be required to furnish proof of funds at Delhi airport but on arrival at Canada immigration people will ask you about your settlement funds which you may be asked to show ar sometimes only ask for that

I do not think there is any limit on carrying cash. If you are carrying over $10,000 CAD in any form you have to tell Canadian official. People do not carry large amounts of cash due to security reasons.

RBI now allows US $ 10000 per person per visit abroad.
