Permanent Resident Vs. Citizen - difference

Hi,
Can anybody explain what are the rights which only Citizens have and PRs don't. What else is the difference between the two status.

Citizens can vote in elections
Citizens can apply for government jobs
Citizens can apply for jobs in Armed Forces
Citizens do not need Visa to visit USA
And so on….
PRs do not have these facilities.

I will correct Biomed for one item,

Permanent resident can apply for Govt Jobs.

err.. no infact its actually illegal to discriminate between citizens and pr's for govt jobs as long as they meet qualifications...

other thing is pr's cant run for any govt federal office in elections...

I know Canadian citizens do not require visa for USA. But do they require visas for the UK or France?
