As everbody's situation is different, so no ans is wrong or right, people are just sharing their experience.
Below points may help you in clearing your thoughts little bit.
Think of the reason, why you applied for PR.
You wanted to move to Canada(for any particular reason).
or You wanted to move out from India(for any particular reason).
Has it changed lately?
What I figured out so far.
Pros
1. Canada is a multicultural country, most of the people here respect each others profession/background/ethinicity.
2. Comparatively safer, almost everybody has basic stuff here.
3. Schooling is free for kids until grade 12. After that I heard it is little expensive than India.
4. Medical is free, doctor visit and clinic charges are paid by government, just like government hospital in India, but medicines are not covered and they are atleast 5-6 times expensive than India.
(Dental and Eye care is not covered by government.)
5. Work life balance is better in IT, usually people work for 8 hours, compare to 10 hrs in India.
Cons.
1. Very far from India
2. Domestic help is very expensive, for a regular 2 hour house cleaning they charge appox 75$.
3. There is very long waiting(atleast 2-3 months, in some case 1 year) for specialist appointment. Normally what you consider critical is not critical for hospital/doctos. Unlike India, you can't just pay money to see doctor.
4. Winter is harsh - People do get depressed, but if you respect weather and plan properly, this won't be a big issue.
5. Day care is very expensive.
6. Dental and Eye care is expensive(If you have full time job, most likely your company will pay for these)
IMHO, this place is
Great for non IT hardworking skilled people who can(not) afford a good lifestyle in India.
Kind of Ok for IT people who are already settled in India.
: My reason for being back in India is simple, Canada is suitable if both husband and wife are working. It mitigates the risk associated with moving to a new country, in my case I would have been the sole earning member.
My earnings was pretty good close to 95K per annum, but my age being above 40 and with kids in junior high didn't make much sense to take the risk. My focus is now, setting up my own business in India. But if have to work for a company then I would prefer to be in Canada, the work culture is lot better in North America that in India.
To clarify further, my family loved their stay in Canada and we also love being in India. For us, migration is/was not the ultimate goal. I am not sure which part of Canada are you living in, I have lived in Sydney and most of my interaction was with white Canadians. Trust me that on if you take first steps they do reciprocate.
Each of us have different experience, I think OP should try their hand in Canada. Its good to live and learn from other cultures, I can see my families short stay in Canada has helped broaden their horizon.

We are digressing and I am sure the OP must be enjoying .
You will find happy & satisfied souls everywhere - people in India , people in Canada , returnees to India and returnees to Canada .. everyone has a right of preference and decision making.
I guess the OP wished to ask how easy would be the adaption to Canada work wise and there s no denying that it should be easy and comfortable .
Beyond that whether they like it here or not , is entirely their experience... over speculating on that based on ours is slightly off the mark.
They would earn and save more here ...period.

I have spoken to the OP and she is a genuine person.
For IT people (especially the OP), it will always be good in Canada. They will enjoy it more than India. The OP is based in Delhi and hence I am sure that the Delhi people will agree that it is better to be in Canada rather than New Delhi.
I agree with Shoba De to some extent. Majority of the so called native Canadians are good people. Say some 98% are good people and they love immigrants. Some 2% only try to stab you behind the back. This is in contrast with 98% of your fellow desi's who ae jealous of you.
I have had unpleasant experiences with some white people in Garage sales when I ask $ 1 for their goods written $ 5. Some of them are rude in the stores. In Non IT offices, I have felt anger when you unintentionally try to poke your nose in the private matter of the so called white Canadians. In IT offices in Canada, I have hardly heard of any complaints since it is majority of Desi's and the so called white Canadians want to extract work from you, which they canot do.
After speaking to the OP, I am sure that they will enjoy Canada, provided they donot have family commitments in India.
Let us advise them with an open mind. Remember that they are both IT people, in very hot technologies.
Let us advise them truthfully.
