Canadian Passport renewal while in US

Hi,

My wife is accompanying in US and she's staying with me on H4 visa. I have canadian PR too. She needs to renew her canadian passport as it's expiring. Can she renew it while staying here in US without jeopardizing my canadian PR status. If she can renew her Canadian passport while residing in US, what's the process?

Your renewal of the Passport is a very simple process.
You can personally drop in and file the papers OR Ask
then to mail the Renewed Passport by mail to you and
sign for it when you receive it. If you need it it in a hurry
then, return back and pick it up. There will be a charge
for the speedier process. Ask them while you are there
visiting them.
