On Christmas day, there was this screening of the movie "Saivam" in Star Vijay Tamil movie channel belonging to the worldwide Star group. The movie indirectly criticized animal sacrifice practiced as a form of Hindu religious worship, nowadays only in small villages but has become mostly extinct in main stream Hindu religious worship.
"Saivam" literally refers to Saivism which is worship of Lord Shiva of Hindu religion, the other Vaishnavism is worship of Lord Vishnu. It can also mean vegetarianism.
The main actor in the movie is Nasser a muslim actor who seems to have a special liking for -ve Hindu roles. His earlier movies of note being villain in Anbe Sivam [full of Vibhuti and reciting "Then Nadudaya (Lord of Southern India) Shiva] and comedy (dumb Hindu Brahmin cook) in Avvai Shanmugi doing mimicry of reciting slokas. He is also popular among theater groups and favorite of secularists and atheists.
Imagine the fate of Nasser, if he was born a Narayan and did similar roles showing muslims in poor light in a country like Saudi Arabia. Not even a Narayan, but as the very same Nasser himself his life would have become very difficult in these countries.
Obviously, Nasser did not have the courage to point out or was oblivious to big camels and goats hacked as a form of religious ritual. But we have come to accept this way as way of life of secularists and some 'great' thinkers and intellectuals of India and we ignore them.
Our main point is religious tolerance and freedom of expression in rich and developed countries of the West may look great. But it is greatest in our poor Hindu/Buddha/Jain/Sikh land of India. This religious tolerance and freedom of expression is innate in sub continent religions and whatever freedom we enjoy is not because of modern day secularists and their secularism but in spite of them. We only request these secularists to think twice before talking ill of the majority religion in India.

Today I repeated OMG on netflix in the afternoon and then watched PK in the theatre in the evening, just returned home. Both conveys same message in different manner. Both are good (unlike bollywood!) and bold movies. It takes lot of courage to question existence of God or comment on religious practice in a country like India and these two movies does it wonderfully well.
I wonder why VHP is showing anger on PK ? It questions the practices from all the section of society. All are equally stupid, then why some hindu sanghs alone are feeling threatened and insecure ? They should not worry as people will forget these movies soon and will revert back to their shops of god in full strength. life scares everybody at some point.
Personally, both movies are my favorite as both endorses my personal viewpoint on the topic.

What is your Atheist opinion on French cartoon? Would u recommend people to see that and enjoy?
Not sure if my opinion matters, particularly when I am struggling to fit myself to any of the divided groups of this world.
It did not make me laugh neither angered me. there was nothing to laugh. It is more satirical, so bit amusing. Reads like a comic book.
On your question, should people see that and enjoy ? It depends on what people chose in life. Let me ask a question -
What do you do when you see retards (sometimes in groups) and shit scared people on the street ? Your options are :
a. Move on, you have your own group of retards to be with, by your choice.
b. Chose not to be a retard. Sometime do spare a thought or 2 for them. (you may intend and even try to help them but you would'nt go far as they do not want to be cured)
c. Stand there and poke fun at them , repeatedly. Even publish the fun.
d. Behead them (This is restricted privilege only for certain group members)
Chose your option. Or should I say somebody already have chosen option (a) for you?

Lol! Well, I liked and loved those cartoons. I have pasted a link of my facebook too. There, it proves we have different values and tastes.

I will leave the question out of the equation... I will say that there are Biographers and then there are celebrities who are BIOGRAPHERS. they write well. It does not matter who they claim or say as the SUPREMO and NO OTHER ahead of him. It is all in every book. Claims besides, imposing it upon others is absurd. I will never cross swords with any one. I do have a choice.
It is O.K. to read and get to know all of it. People should weigh their writing before they post it, either it be in a cartoon form or as a tale. It does not matter if it is Danish, French or even British or Arabic. After having published the material, if they retract it, will they be forgiven, or accept their apologies?
