I am extremely sorry that my post has been taken totally in the wrong sense. I just wanted someone to share / verify if what my wife's friend has said is correct or exaggeration, that's all. Though you have not put forth your personal preference, I hope that you got a gist of Canada from what has been written.
Canadians are generally good people, not putting their nose in other people's normal businees and vice versa.
However, if you bring your conservative habits into this country, they feel threatened and will defend their rights.
If you read redflag deals.com, most Canadians (under the guise of annonimity) donot like immigrants as they consider many desi immigrants to be refugees , depriving Canada of its richness, exploiting the health care system etc.. Hope such stero typing of desi educated immigrants will go in the days ahead.
Look forward to your views on canada once you land.
