Hi all

How r u guys, I m Canadian citizen now I m thinking to apply for us citizenship than planning to go back permenantly to india after 2 years.

confusion : 1. if I will get citizenship in us

2. If I will go to india permenant after I will get us citizenship

3. I will have to pay taxes in India and usa

That's true ? I m thinking I will give up my GC

I don't want to pay taxes in both countries.

What I have to do ?

US citizens over 18 have to file taxes no matter where you live, If you're outside US I guess you would pay taxes when your wages are beyond a specific ceiling and will also be able to use the Double tax avoidance.
With Canada, you might know the story of residency / non-residency.
