All brands are good. Go with whatever you may find the cheapest. Compare the flyers from different stores. As I said, don't fixated on the brand - all have the same quality, when it comes to the LED TVs.

Samsung has been leader in LED for few years now . If you are just planning to watch Hindi channels through analog source than it doesn't matter much but if you want to enjoy High Def stuff or plan to watch 4K ( will become a reality with in next 6 mnths ) than don't just buy ANY TV.

I am of the opinion that cheapest is not always best.

However Best TV is the one that you can comfortably afford.

I would avoid LG if you plan to keep your TV for long time (5+ years). The HDMI inputs go bad after a couple of years - a known problem for LG.

I encountered this issue twice in the last 5 years..

I have been using Toshiba 32" in my Bedroom and it's been going pretty strong for the past 7 years. It is LCD. A friend of mine has RCA and another one got some unknown brand LED last year at Boxing day, that have the same picture quality as the LG, Samsung, or Sharp.

That's why I said, Brand doesn't matter these days. All are making the comparative LED screens and have more or less the same features.

Also, I would suggest not to fall in the trap of Smart TV. It's nothing but a marketing gimmick for you to shell out more for nothing. Buy a media set top box instead.

Just my experience.

4k is a different ballgame altogether.
