Hi,

Can someone suggest some good indian resturants in Toronto, Mississauga area. By good I meant... nice environment, good food and reasonably priced.

Also, some joint for chat-patta stuff.. like chaats, pani-puri, bhel.

I am very new and my restaurant finding excercise is still on but here are the nice ones i have been to ..

1. Saffron tree - @ university and Gerrard st(downtown) $10 buffet in lunch
2. Pakwanchi - Dundas and Hurintario ( mississauaga)all day buffet around $10
3. Lahore tikka house - Gerrard street (little india) it is great in summers with outdoor seating in a shamiyana) this is the most popular eating place on gerrard
4. Udipi - little india @ gerrard...if you are a south indian or a shakahaari , this would be nice

i have been to a few more but those were just plain old simple , nothing special types

I am sure other members know a lot more places , please let us know , even i'll learn something here.

Try "Jaipur" in East Beaver Creek, MArkham. Really good food.
