For you to stay inside of Canada, you need a VISA.

For you to work here you need a Work Permit.

You are currently on PGWP. It is renewable and if you are employed in a Profession for which you are qualified, it will be even better. So, Extend the visa and the work permit. See if your current employer will help you.

Unless and until you inform them of the change of status, which is marital status, there is no way anyone will know about it. Only when you apply for your PR and through the Spousal Sponsorship it will become evident. So, get started with the process as soon as you can. Why delay.? !

Let all of these process take its own time and its own course. Be Patient !!
