He is in a profession where he needs to constantly keep his followers guessing and prove himself 'that he knows things in advance'. If you see pattern of sayings and doings of all these yogies, you will know how they keep their business going.

'Love, forgiveness and Acceptance are understandable.

Regarding Dec 21, 2012; I think, he want s to say - it will be a "Zero Condition".
I have no idea what exactly it means. There may be several meanings.

He insisted for a particular date "Dec 21st, 2010" in this video - probablt twice.

Does he indicate something for this date?

Have you met him? What's your personal experience?

That sounds very vague, like someone taking you for a ride because he can't offer anything observable or measurable. This kind of fluff ensures that regardless of what happens in Dec 2012, you can always spin things to your advantage.

There is also a clear attempt to merge canned western evangelism ("Kingdom of God" kind of terminology, the "are you ready to do this" assertive interrogation style) with traditional Hinduism and in my opinion, it falls flat both ways.

Nothing wrong in spreading love and forgiveness or the merits of meditation, but the connection to 2012 just makes the whole thing come across as fake. Just my opinion though, the believers can believe.
