Wow! Some poor soul came here with their own set of queries/questions, and this is how they are treated? Too soon, a hoardes of people jumped on the hollow 'my faith (atheism) is better than yours' conclusion. Give your heads a shake. Enjoy your atheism while others enjoy their faith peacefully.

May be it's been while since the last Canada vs. India debate, and couldn't handle all the lull here on CD. So, thought to bash up and made a poster a 'guinea pig'.

I am not a religious person myself as well, but I believe faith has no questions, no answers. It's just subtle.

If that was directed at me as well, then it doesn't apply. Just a civilian puke like the rest of you.:)

Any Hanuman mandir in downtown area?

Hello seenimesh,

Undoubetdly, some wonderfully helping individuals have replied to my original question (location of Hanumanji's temple). Though, it does not mean that I have found my answer because, I will visit the Hanumanji's temple and confirm for possibility offering of OIL. Once I find it, then I can say that my search has ended....

I will always remain thankful to those selfless individuals for pointing out temple's address.

At the same time, I would not like to request moderator to delete the thread but, somehow, it's going on totally different direction. As such, I have several fronts in life to deal with and, I do not want that this thread (initiated by me) gives me one more internal pain.

I am, honestly, not aware abt forum rules.

Hope, it clarifies my request and point.

I do not care whether you served with armed forces or not. But I do care if you try to mock Hindu religion. Why did you respond to a simple question regarding location of a temple by mocking the practice? Every religion has rituals, which can be mocked easily. It seems, as I had suggested before, that you are atypical moron wearing your pseudo-atheism on your sleeve. You claim that Buddha and Jain do not believe in idolatry. Your statement itself proves that you are not a Hindu. If you want to debate that issue, open a new thread. If you bash Hinduism, I would certainly take you up if I have time. I do not know how would you cremate your parents. Would you be performing any religious rituals? It would be nice to know. By the way, you seem to be such a great “rationalist” that you seem to have curiosity about everything , then I am sure you would have your DNA tested, out of curiosity, to confirm your lineage too. Is it true? Or you trust your lineage implicitly?

There are no forum rules as such.

"@ Moderator : I was/am in need of a address of Hanumanj's Temple. I got an answer. please delete this thread, if possible. "

Plain reading of above simply implies that your purpose has been solved and hence you are requesting deletion.

Anyways I wish you all the best on all the front of your life. Please do share us your experience with temple.

Cheers

My apologies if my question does not go well with your beliefs but I am sure some of you might know the answer also and would like to enlighten.

Hi guys, I have found the answer to this question which google can not find. (by talking different people)

Here' s story goes:

When hanumaji was in ashok vatika, he saw Sitaji doing sindoor on her forehead (Sindoor is a symbol of married women in hindu religion - for those who do not know)

So, Hanumanji curiously asked her, why is she doing that?
Sitaji replied, this is a symbol of marriage, and by this her husband Shri Ramji will have long and healthier life (She was doing such manokamna for doing this)

So, Hanumaji thought, he loves Ramji more than anybody else in the world. And than he put sindoor all over the body rather just putting a bindi.

Now sindoor was a dry powder and that started going all over the place, so he started putting oil on his body so it remained sticked.

After this it became a tradition to pour oil and having tilak.

Hope this satisfies all CDs curiosity
