Any one booked tickets from India to Toronto of late? We used to get return tickets for parents for 45-55K INR range... but now we are getting 65-80K INR range (for this summer) from the same travel agents in Delhi. Has the prices jumped drastically of late? Any suggestions for good deals?

Ticket rates in Dollar has not increased much, preety much the same as it is always, however Rupee has devalued by as much as 15-18% since last October, and that is what being reflected there.

Anybody book tickets from Toronto to Ahmedabad recently for the upcoming summer vacation months? What kind of fares are you hearing?

Best I've heard so far is $1450, however the vast majority are over $1700.

For July-August, fares to major Indian cities from Toronto are in the range $1800 to $2000, $1800 being offered by Air India whose pilots are on strike for past couple of weeks. It is in same range for December-January travel around Christmas also.
