Hi,

My wife is coming for the first time to canada.

Has anybody purchased a Baggage and Personal Effects insurance - she has many things that she wants to insure if they get lost or stolen?

You can buy baggage insurance, usually there is a limit up to which they insure. Some credit cards also offer it, sometimes it is a feature they offer if you use that credit card to purchase the ticket.
