U ask me this is a very flimsy ticket .. The cop must have been upset not to find the child without seat belt..

If u contest this ticket the prosecutor or the judge will cancel the ticket..

I too think the main reason the cop stop is beacuse he felt , child is without seat belt. Perhaps whether child have a proper or loose fitted selt belt is a seperate issue. That may come up for discussion during the hearing
But judge should be cancelling the ticket based on your pervious clean record and left turn reason for slowing down on passing lane. Best of luck

First time I've ever heard someone get a ticket for "driving too slow in the passing lane". In this case, I think the cop was looking for something to give you a ticket for because he couldn't give you one for the not wearing seatbelt.

Definitely fight it.

don't be that surprised. I regularly drive on ETR-407 for work.
Two times I say OPP car catching people driving at 100 km/per hour on fastest or second fastest passing lane. People driving at 100km should stick to normal 4th or 5th right most lane . Not only they slow the traffic. it is plainly wrong when all lanes are empty.
