Dealing with a travel insurance specialist that knows the differences between policies and which ones are better for different medical situations, and travel plans is the best way to go. And the prices are usually lower when you look at more companies.

You should also compare exculsions in the insurance policy your buying not just the rates. If one company is cheaper than the other their has to be something wrong in the cheaper policy. You should read the contract which tells you what is covered and what isn`t or if their is any deductible that you have to pay before you make a claim.

Wow.

"If one company is cheaper than the other their must be something wrong in the cheaper policy"?

So by that logic, you'd always recommend using the most expensive policy. I agree with you that large differences in price will indicate different type of insurance coverage, but often very similar coverage can be $100s of dollars different between two companies.

Everyone should read the entire contract before purchasing, but finding the key differences between each policy can be done much quicker than reading every single word of every single policy. Using the tools provided on the quote they receive, people using a comparable online broker service can look at specific differences in how prices change when the deductible changes, or which policies cover stable pre-existing medical conditions and which ones don't, and what the exact definition of 'stable' or 'change of medication' is with each company - in a few seconds, without downloading and opening six or seven policy documents and searching for the 'definitions' section.

Please don't try to boast that "We deal with companies that actually pay your claim". You are implying that other brokers don't? Or that every single one of your companies has never denied a claim?
