massodji,

i have a specific question on sponsoring my father.i need a family income of $ 48,000 to sponsor my father which i have in the last year.but this income of $ 48,000 is reached after including $5,000 which my wife got in employment insurance.
Now, can this $5,000 be counted as a family income or not?

It is very strange that if it comes to taxing....the 5000 will be included in your family income...:-(
