Dear All
I got my PR in Jan 2011 and I have been to Canada twice for a week both times. In the letter that I got from the office of the Citizenship and immigration of Canada it mentioned clearly that I need to be there in Canada for atleast 730 days in a period of 5 years to renew my PR or more than 3 years to apply for citizenship. Now I am in India for some personal reasons and shall be in Canada at the end of next year.
My question is :
If I stay in Canada for a minimum of 730 days then can I apply for a renewal of my PR and is it sure that it will be renewed, if not then what are the conditions that I need to fullfill in order to have that renewed?
Please let me know at the earliest as I need to plan my next move as I am very keen to move to Canada and dont want to loose this opportunity that I have got.
Kindly advise.
Regards
SSPPM

YES .. there will not be any problem. Plan for your stay and apply for renewal while you are in Canada.
