Are Proof of funds on Landing required to be in C$ only

I am due to do my landing in Canada shortly. Is it mandatory to show the POF (Proof of Funds) in Canadian $ only. Can these funds be carried in US$ instead ?

Yes, the funds can be in any currency. I carried US$.

Yes it works , I brought combination of US$, EUR and CAD. Was also carrying 1500 INR ;-)
(INR might be reqd when you go back , have to do taxi or give bakshish at indian airport )

Bakshish at indian airport .............. it reminded me an incident where my friend gave folded Canadian Tire money at indian airport :-).

Hi CD's, any suggestions from where we can shop for warm clothes in Mississauga, without investing too much money.... thanks guys, I have been getting excellent responses for my queries on this forum.....
