Good decision by Kenny.
These old immigrants are destroying the Canada that I would like to see in 2030.
Peace

tamikuravanl you were the same guy who was collecting EI some time back correct?

maybe you don't have any regard for your parents but have a heart for those who do. Yo want to see Canada in 2030? You might be dead and gone by then.

Ashedfc:

If one has a good job / income in Canada, world financial problems may not effect much. Still one can enjoy the better infrastructure (even though aging), have organized and better quality of life, fair treatment from the government etc.,

If one has a good job / income in India ... can be close to family and may enjoy some aspects of growth related benefits. However, our generation will not get the benefit of enjoying basic amenities. ( clean air, water, reliable electricity, secured transportation and road facilities etc). It is a long way to go in these countries with so many people and other difficult to solve problems. Even if they can achieve ( I doubt) ... we die by the time. Those who are moving back to India .... they can say it is for their kids:D

Hi Friends,

I am just 2 months old in Canada. On a WP here with my wife who is on a Visitor (Dependant) Visa . My in-laws want to visit us. They applied for the tourist visa 2 weeks back at the Canadian Embassy in Delhi. But the Embassy sent the passports back without any comment or document.

Now, I am planning to file tourist visa app for my parents. Can anybody provide me with any extra information which I can provide while filing the application.

Thanks in advance
Vishal

Extra info means we need to know what you already know.

Anyway, You can get a Visit/Tourist visa for your parents.

Organize following:

1. Letter from the company saying that you are working
2. Recent Pay stubs
3. Fat balance in the bank
4. An affidavit / letter saying the purpose of your parents visit and your undertaking that you will take care of them during their stay
5. Your work permit and copy of passport

Then your parents enclose their income details / property details / bank details etc with their application .... Basically it should impress that they have lot of things / commitments in home country and have no intention to stay long in Canada.

If you do the things professionally and sensibly, the chances of of getting visa are very high.
