I am posting here to see if another CD had similar issue and it maybe very simple solution before I call the technician.


On my KitchenAid dishwasher from the past couple of months The upper portion is not cleaning as the bottom one. I see food partials and fog on the upper part of dishwasher.

Someone told me to open it up and clean the drainage etc. I did that. It improve a bit but after a week or so same thing.

Someone suggest to use the JetDry. I tried that but again not really helped.

What else I should check? It little over 2 years old..

Seems like the upper spray arm above the top rack is not spraying enough water to clean the dishes.

If you have warranty, I'd suggest give them a call and get it fixed. Alternatively, if you're a handyman, I'd suggest search this http://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/ for a solution. If you don't find one, sign up at the site, for a one-time fee of $5, you can ask as many questions as you like and get real quick and professional responses. I've used this site twice so far, for my gas stove and washer and in both cases, fixed it myself for a fraction of what I would have paid a professional.

The video link you post is exactly what I did in the past and dishwasher improved a bit after that.
