Thanks a lot all of you for valuable inputs. Yes , I initally consider to take Taipan tours but dropped the idea considering hectic schedule. Can any one tell me where I can get those dicount cpupons for the hotels/motels? Also if someone stayed at hotel in jersy city or Hoboken area , kindly provide me the name of the hotel/motel and pricing information.

So metallurgy : Can you pl update here how was your trip and what was the option you opted and if it worked out for you .....for benifit of future travellers ? Thanks.

Due to some family emergency we cancelled our plan to visit Newyork. How ever we did travel to US , Newjersy and Connecticut by car. Driving was not that bad. While returning had some opportunity for shopping at The Crossings Premium Outlets ( 1000 Route 611 , Tannersville ,Pennsylvania 18372)
There is no tax on clothes in Newjersy and pennsylvania but in Newyork there is a tax on clothes. By the way these outlets are on Highway and also I found one Indian restaurant ( run by some Gujju people) nearby the Outlet.
