Did you guys repaired/replaced transmission? how was the experience?

RBO thanks for your advice. I did send my car for repair at Mr Transmission on Dundas.
Price was a bit expensive but He is a trustworthy Guy. I did get cheaper quotes as $1350, $1825 etc - The price that i paid was $2500 is without tax -

I did bought a wrong car (honda civic 2001 for $3300), just after 500 km, (6 months used) i ended spend $2500

I prefer to keep the Civic as a second car for city use as we are planning to buy a 4 x 4 Acura 2010 é 2011 model next year.

Never mind my car is working now and happy for all the advice.

Bhoonath my advice for transmission is better to go to a reliable place as those who says less than $1500 will give junk.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will not shop around much the only thing that I found that Mr. Transmission has several branches and there is other branch in mississauga which is closer to my place. I understand that you may not be able to comment on that but since it is sort of same franchisee would it make a difference if I take the vehicle to near by one?
How long did it take for you to get the vehicle back?

There is some few Mister Transmission around my place, but the reason why i went to him, is by reference and thanks to RBO to find me such a reliable and helpful person.

Try to call him - His name is John and asked him if he can provide u free Towing. Not sure -

But u will satisfy with his work.
