I would like to thank all those who replied to my earlier thread, wherein I asked if moving from Canada to the US, was a good option.

For a couple of reasons, I would have to rent my townhouse here instead of selling it. The major advantages of my house are location, proximity to the Square one terminal, grocery shops and the major highways.

I would like my Desi friends here to share with me their views, opinions and experiences with renting the house on a 1 to 3 year lease.

I was asking my fellow Desi's who have leased their properties while being abroad, about their experiences.

I was looking to share their experiences know what to look out for, what to expect in terms of good and "not so good"experiences, what downsides there may be in doing so etc.

I know the difference between posting in "classifieds" and starting a thread on "charcha".
