This could spell trouble for law and order. I think at least one section of the society will be angry. Karnataka govt has already declared holiday on Friday and Saturday for all govt and private educational institutions across the state. There is a emergency petition to the court to defer the verdict till the CWG is over. Not sure what the court ahs said.

If there are clashes over the verdict, that would affect CWG when athletes start coming over as of Thursday.
