We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 25, 2009.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called A Look at Canada on August 25, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on March 30, 2010.

Your file was transferred to the Citizenship and Immigration Operations Ontario office on July 9, 2010. The Citizenship and Immigration Operations Ontario office will contact you if additional information is required. The Citizenship and Immigration Operations Ontario office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.

Now I'm waiting for Citizenship test,according to my knowledge i should receive test date by now as it takes 4 to 8 weeks for test intimation once your application is transferred to your local office.I will appreciate if anyone can share his/her experience with the similar timeline.

May i know which part of Toronto you are from and have you visited your home counry during last 3 or 4 years,how many days and how many times? since you got permenant status in Canada?

I received letter for my Citizenship test and going to write it on 14th Oct 2010 at St.Clair office.IS there any one who has received test letter or sharing the same time line.Please share with me here or at my email (Thanks)

Thanks Scarborodude !what is your status .......so excited to write an exam and jump to next stage.Hopefully,it will take a month more after the test and get on to the band wagon.

My file was transferred to Scarborough office in September 2010. (last month)
Its been about 6 weeks now.

I'm still waiting for test date from scarborough office.
